- Swingers in Suspenders! - Dragon Theatre
March 13th - 14th
The first event planned to celebrate the theatre’s 50th anniversary year. Featuring songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s in this cabaret style show performed by professsional theatre group, King Villa.

- Friendly Fairbourne Engines
April 12th - 13th and July 27th - 28th
The steam engines will be wearing their friendly faces and there will be children’s activities. Lord Bart the Stout Director will be in command and all the child passengers receive a ‘goodie bag’.

Fairbourne Railway ‘Little to Large’ - Steam Engines in Action!
May 24th - 25th All available locomotives will be in steam, visiting steam models, miniature traction engine rides and a possible visit from a full size steam roller.

June
- Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race
Saturday 20th June
Yachts leave the harbour at 5.00pm. The race proceeds to Caernarfon where two crew members race to the summit of Snowdon and return, then on to Whitehaven for the ascent of Scafell Pike and finally to Fort William and Ben Nevis. Race start in Barmouth is preceded by a procession of the yachts from the harbour to the start line off shore, with many events on the quayside to entertain the onlookers.

- Country Music & Linedancer Festival
Saturday and Sunday July 4th and 5th
Two days of Country and Western music and dancing in Talbot Square in the centre of the town. This popular event attracts ever increasing support and has now been extended to a full weekend, with associated evening events.

Sunday 26th July
Held at the Coed y Bachau fields, this very popular event features live music throughout the day, along with many rides and stalls to entertain the whole family. With a licensed bar until 11 and an evening disco.

- R.N.L.I. Open Day
Sunday 16th August
Fundraising event - the Lifeboat Station opens to the public, giving an opportunity to learn more about the R.N.L.I. Fascinating for children, with added fun, games and facepainting, all in a good cause.
September
Barmouth Arts Festival
September 5th - 12th
For more than 30 years, this festival has grown to become an established part of the cultural life of Barmouth. Taking place mainly in the Dragon Theatre, the week’s programme is a mix of classical and popular entertainment and includes both professional and local artists performing in music concerts and drama productions, plus art & craft exhibitions. Barnardos 20 mile Sponsored Walk
Saturday October 10th
This very successful fund raising event is now in its 16th year and has raised over £100,000 for Barnardos. A very worthwhile opportunity to enjoy walking in Southern Snowdonia.

- Barmouth Motocross Weekend
First weekend in November
An exciting weekend of thrills and spills with excellent viewing for spectators from the promenade. Motor cycles and quad bikes race on a specially prepared circuit on Barmouth’s extensive sands.
