About the event
Heritage Weekend returns on 12th and 13th September, continuing the Talyllyn Railway’s 75th anniversary celebrations with themed trains inspired by different chapters of the railway’s story. Saturday looks back to the pre-preservation era, and Sunday turns to the pioneering early preservation years.
Alongside the trains, you'll find displays exploring the Talyllyn and wider Welsh narrow gauge railways, plus the slate heritage that shaped the landscape around the line.
