About the event
Step into the history and beauty of One of Britains most remarkable Explorers. Visit ‘Bodowen’ mountaineer and sailor Major Bill Tilman’s former home, set in breathtaking surroundings, a few miles up the river Mawddach from Barmouth.
Chris Harrison, the new owner of Bodowen, will greet you with a specially devised ‘Tilman mule cocktail’
£5 including cocktail and minibus transportation. Minibus departs from RNLI Boat House - all details will be provided when you have booked tickets via email to nparker51@hotmail.com
Energetic participants will be able to return to Barmouth on foot via a guided walk along the Panorama. Walking boots/shoes desired.
