About the event
Celebrate the joys and traditions of Christmas and join us for a day out with a Festive Flavour on one of our special Guided Trains.
Travel in our beautifully decorated period carriages pulled by an original Victorian steam engine, an ideal way to get into the Christmas Spirit!
Your festive train departs Tywyn Wharf Station at 11am, with a glass of mulled wine in hand.
Over the course of your day, guides will join you to describe the Victorian origins of many of our present day Christmas Traditions, along with tales of the distinctly Welsh ways of celebrating, and learn of practices now lost to the mists of time.
