There’s something special about shopping on holiday. It can be a time for wandering in and out of shops that you don’t get at home and browsing for a little something that reminds you of a favourite place. There are over 70 shops in Barmouth, many of them independent and selling things you won’t find anywhere else.
There are galleries selling original art and prints by local artists, or people with a connection to the town. If you want to use your holiday to kick start a new hobby we have a lovely craft shop. We have homeware shops with a fantastic range of  products that you won’t find on other High Streets. You could have a whole new look for your home. 
If you find you’ve forgotten to pack an essential item, or you need new equipment for your caravan then we have shops selling everyday things too. We are well supplied with shops providing gift ideas and “thank you” presents for those looking after your home or pets! This is just a small sample of the many things you can find on Barmouth High Street.
Many of the shops also have their own websites, so if you see something, but aren’t quite certain it’s right, why not take a photo and check when you get home. Then you can order online and have your own little bit of Barmouth to remind you until you come back to visit again. Alternatively, have a look online first and pick up when you are here.
